Our Little Gymnast

As we were getting ready today for gymnastics class, it occurred to me that Abbie is some glitter make-up and too much hair gel away from looking like a professional gymnast! Check out that shiny leotard...all it needs is some rhinestones!!!

Abbie's First Bar Fight

I had the pleasure of going out with the girls last night for a nice dinner and a chance to catch up with my good friends Brandi and Anna. It was a wonderful night! While I was livin' it up with the ladies, Abbie apparently hit the bars...

Well, Abbie clearly had one too many last night and apparently got into quite the brawl as evidenced by the wound on her face. She also seems a little hungover this morning as well...waking up at 10:00 this morning!

She didn't seem too worried about her shank scar once we were able to get some foolproof hangover treatment this morning... oatmeal with apples and peanut butter.

She assured me that she could make the gash "work." Apparently, all you need to do is put a hand through your hair and work up your best beauty pageant smile, and the people around you will simply say, "Knife wound? What knife wound?"

2.0's 20 Week Sonogram

Well, today was the big day! James and I headed downtown to have our big sonogram.

2.0 was healthy in every way. The sono took an entire hour because this baby was not cooperative at all! I remember when we had this sonogram with Abbie, and she was so willing to show us and the sonographer everything we needed to see. This baby...not so much. However, the baby is cute and has a GIANT head just like Abbie did.

We also learned that this baby is a sweet baby girl! So, as James said walking out the door, let the fight over her name begin! Somehow I think I'll win...what do you guys think?

Princess Abigail

We took pics for her birthday party invitations, and she wanted to be a princess. So, she wore the tiara I wore in my wedding, and she gave us several of her "best shots."

When we were done, she wanted to know if she was "going to Hollywood." I think the princess is confusing two of Mommy's shows.

What A Day!!

Nothing like 1 million hours of inaugural coverage to really make me feel like an American!
I don't know about you, but if I wasn't sure before, I am certain now that everything is going to be alright...because Super Barack will make sure of it. He's no ordinary man. He is going to save us.

Do you have a splinter in your finger? He will make sure the era of change comes to your afflicted digit. After all, it shouldn't be the wealthy alone who have access to splinter-puller-outers.

Are you frustrated by the price of a stamp? He'll check the W2 of the guy behind you and ensure he pays for your postage. Why should you have to pay for it when there is a "have" standing right behind you! The burden of postage can be spread around. It will make these United States a place of greater personal responsibility.

As a matter of fact, should you have any grievance what-so-ever, you just send the big guy an email. He'll put a team together, have a small business owner finance the team's brainstorming, design a resolution, have one of those hideous successful/rich people pay for the resolution, and solve your problem completely. You have nothing to worry about!

We are living in Barack Obama's United States, my friends. He is shaping our future, and we can finally be the nation we were destined to be!!!

Version 2.0

Well, I have a lot to apologize for...

1. If we've been shopping, and you've noticed I wear the same sad elastic waist black pants... I'm so sorry for the embarrassment.

2. Along the same lines, while we were shopping, if you were concerned that I accidentally put on one of Abbie's shirts before I left the house because it was so tight that my belly hung out the bottom...again, I'm terribly sorry I embarrassed you.

3. If you've tried to call after 7:00 PM to find out what in the world I was talking about on your voicemail earlier in the day, only to find that I've already gone to sleep...I am sorry.

4. If I've been to lunch with you recently, and puked into my napkin and/or the parking lot on the way to our cars...soooo sorry.

I promise I have a good excuse for everything...

The truth is, I HAVE A STOWAWAY! Little Billingsley Version 2.0 will continue to hitch a free ride in my belly until July 21, 2009!

So...anyone interested in a buffet of buffalo wings with blue cheese and cocktails on July 22?
